My idea is...

voicemail indicator on the phone

I would like to have some kind of indicator on the phone that a voicemail is available. Previous providers have included a stutter dial tone to indicate that there are new messages.

I wish someone would have show me how to work the voicemail indicator on the phone. How do you get the messages? There are no directions about the phone

The Phone Box should support both message waiting indicator light and stuttered dial tone. I get that Google Voice has a lot of cool power and options, but for my wife who walks in from work and drops groceries on the counter before glancing at the light on the phone to see if there's messages, to her this is a big bug. We were previously with Time Warner Cable and they supported both on their VoIP service. If GF doesn't implement these features, and Nomorobo support, we will very likely port our number to another VoIP provider.
